- Eat smaller fish and food to grow. You can eat fish that are clearly smaller than you.
- Avoid bigger fish. Dangerous fish have a red outline; hunters chasing you show a ! and edge arrows.
- Dash to escape or snatch prey. It recharges in a couple of seconds.
- Your score becomes points. Spend them in Upgrade fish on advanced fish that earn more points per bite.
- Score well to earn a next-game reward: a bigger start, a speed boost, or the legendary Ocean of Plenty.
